Moon Girl - Blame It On The Moon (Poem)

Moon Girl
From the moment  we met
I was drawn to you
you said you were a lover
of words,too.
Like the moon
you are her spawn
cradled in her arms
abiding by her love
you cradle me in yours
rapture by your spell.

An enchantment, an elation
of mystic yet mysterious wonder
curious a child
desire to know more of one
you gently pull me in
like a magnet
with no regret
and I'm wrapped around
this aura,this beauty
so bright, so luminous.

Your sweet arms envelop me
you don't want to let me go
but don't you know, I don't want
you to let go
I'm here to stay
yes, here to stay with you
for as long as you want me to.

You want that, you want me?
You need that, you need me?

Feelings for you
I blame it on the moon
I'm hypnotized
I realize
how much you mean
to me right now
why when how
you ask?

I can't explain this alluring intrigue
for I just want you
yes you, even more.
More today
than yesterday
and more of you
tomorrow.
If it's way too soon,
just blame it on the moon.

Oh my head keeps spinning
tilted off my axis, it's magical.
Full rotation over you
Don't make me wait
another 27 days
till you come around again.
For I want to go
and be with you
right now.
So if it's way too soon,
just blame it on the moon.
